Event Navigation

R.E.A.P. (Restoration. Education. Appreciation. Preservation.)

We offer hands-on habitat restoration training – invasive plant removal and native seed collection – plus enriching conservation education on the 3rd Saturday of every month between April and October from 9 a.m. until Noon. No experience necessary – we teach you! Participant names are entered into a drawing for a chance to win a prize!

Today we will collect native seeds. After our work is done, we’ll go fishing! *A limited number of fishing poles are available for use on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Feel free to bring your own!

  • Proper off-trail outdoor workday attire recommended – long pants, long sleeves & sturdy, waterproof shoes (no sandals or flip-flops, please)
  • Light snack & work gloves provided – bring your water bottle – wear your insect repellent & sunscreen
  • Volunteer Waiver required (Parent/Guardian signature needed for youth volunteers under the age of 18)
  • In case of rain, our workday will be canceled – check our Facebook page for up-to-the-minute event information
