Species Spotlight – Bumblebees and Other Native Pollinators

April 8, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

FPWC Headquarters

Join us for a fascinating photographic overview of our native pollinators in this session led by experienced Naturalist and Illinois Bee Spotter, Barbara Williams.  We’ll explore the important roles of pollinators in our lives and our landscapes, and what we can do to help their declining populations.

Pre-register online by clicking HERE no later than Monday, April 3rd if you wish to reserve a printed copy of the instructional materials at the event.  Walk-ins are always welcome, though space is limited.

This session is free and open to anyone interested in learning about native pollinators; however, those interested in volunteering as official FPWC Bee Spotters will need to attend this training. Contact our volunteer coordinator via e-mail at komalley@winnebagoforest.org, or call (815) 877-6100 (T/W/Th) for more information.
