Our popular summer program offering dozens of diverse activities in forest preserves is back and better than ever! Be sure to get your free Get Outside! passport so you can enjoy guided hikes, river study, fishing, wildflower walkabouts, fun runs, nature study, birdwatching, camping, golf and more! Passports avaialbe May 1. Activities kick-off on May 21, 2016!

Get Outside!Winnebago is an innovative back-to- nature program committed to encouraging children and families to be more physically active, and to enjoy the many outdoor opportunities in forest preserves. Participating teams earn points by having their passports stamped for each scheduled activity they attended. Get Outside! offers a full schedule and wide variety of outdoor recreation opportunities. Get Outside! runs throughout June and July 2016 offering FREE activities and events including guided hikes, canoeing clinics, nature study, camping, 5K fun run, golf, bird hikes, river study, paddling trips, archaeology and more. Teams earning enough points can qualify for the grand prize drawing.
Get your passport book at the kick-off event, Nature Fiesta, on Saturday, May 21 from 12:00 to 4:00 at Blackhawk Springs Forest Preserve, or at any of these participating locations:

Get your passport stamped, collect points, and qualify for the grand prize!
Bring your passport with you to all the self-guided and scheduled activities and have it validated so you can earn points to qualify for a grand prize! You’ll earn 4 points for each scheduled activity if you get your passport stamped by the activity leader. Self-guided activities are worth 2 points if you complete the validating information on the passport page. Not all of your team members need to attend every activity. Make sure whomever represents your team brings the passport and gets it stamped.
