Up close and personal with wild birds! Don’t miss this unique opportunity to observe the migratory bird research process and take part in a guided nature hike and guided scavenger hunt along the Sugar River. The birds are most active in the early morning so we encourage you to join us closer to 8:00am. Please wear long sleeves, long pants, and sturdy footwear and bring bug spray if you would like to join the guided nature hike.

We offer hands-on habitat restoration training - invasive plant removal and native seed collection - plus enriching conservation education on the 3rd Saturday of every month between April and October from 9 a.m. until Noon.
