Atwood Homestead Boat Docks Update-6/20/19

UPDATE-6/20/19

The dock at the boat launch has been installed as of 6/20/19. Maintenance crews are still waiting for firmer ground conditions to install the dock near the Old Settlers shelter.

There has been a delay in getting the boat docks installed at Atwood Homestead Forest Preserve this year due to an extremely wet spring. Maintenance crews have been waiting for the water level of the Rock River to drop closer to normal and for ground conditions to firm up in order to enable this process to happen safely and efficiently.  Once conditions improve installation can begin.
