Notice of Tree Removal/Bumblebee Habitat

Kieselburg, Stone Bridge, Four Lakes, Severson Dells and Cedar Cliff Forest
Preserves have been awarded funding for habitat improvement for the federally
threatened Rusty Patched Bumblebee. Habitat improvement requires removal of
aggressive and invasive trees and replacing with native prairie attractive to Rusty
Patched Bumblebees. Tree removal will occur during the 2019 winter. For questions
