At 6:44 p.m., Audrey Johnson made a motion to go into closed session.

Draft Agreement – Tom Hartley distributed a draft agreement between the Forest Preserves of Winnebago County and the Owners of Funderburg Farms, Inc.  Funderburg Farms, Inc is wanting to sell their property to the Preserves.  Their property borders Severson Dells.  An appraisal was ordered and done on August 21.  The owners of Funderburg Farms, Inc. have requested an agreement stating that the property would stay forest preserve property, as well as state the uses of the property, and give Funderburg Farms naming rights to the property with a minimum donation of $250,000.

Tom is simply seeking general consensus from the Board to proceed with this agreement to present to the Funderburg’s.  General consensus from the Board was given.

At 6:56 p.m. the meeting returned to open session.  No action was taken while in closed session.

Respectfully Submitted,

Ronelle Johnson
