  Blackhawk Springs Forest Preserve (5360 Mulford Road, Cherry Valley - Indian Springs Shelterhouse) This heavily wooded 629.9-acre preserve is one of our largest, and provides a wealth of fishing and hiking opportunities. Today, volunteers will be busy removing invasive plant species. Afterwards, we'll enjoy paddling on the Kishwaukee River - we'll provide the canoes, or you may bring your own!
