  • Sugar River Campground reservations are FULL for the following dates: June 6-9, 2024 and September 6-8, 2024. 

  • FPWC is excited to announce our agency has been awarded funding as part of the OSLAD grant program. Read more here.

  • Restoration Project - A large area at Funderburg Forest Preserve is being forestry mowed to remove dense thickets of non-native invasive shrubs. While this area may look dramatically different, this process is necessary to restore these woods to a place where native flora and fauna may thrive. If you are using Old Weldon Road or hiking into Funderburg Forest Preserve from adjacent properties please keep an eye out for heavy equipment!

  • New Educational Partnership - FPWC is pleased to partner with Burpee Museum of Natural History to bring educational programs to the community. Learn more here.
